Want to help with PTSD and TBI? Join the “Arms Forces”

“We say we are the “softer side”, we hug people!”

“The Arms Forces” is a newer organization working to join forces with every military branch, government agency, and service organization across the United States.  Their goal is to “develop the best system of short term and long term care for our veterans with invisible wounds.”

The invisible wounds: Traumatic Brain Injury and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Pam Hays, the founder of Arms Forces,  survived a severe traumatic brain injury.  She quickly learned that there were few services available to her as a civilian, and even fewer to military veterans, for treatment of  TBI and PTSD.  Pam’s solution to this problem evolved into the creation of  The Arms Forces.

“The Arms Forces has found a way to bridge the gap in service delivery, as well as provide support resources for invisibly wounded veterans and their families, and to be a provider of “real life information” training for individuals, organizations, nonprofit, social service, and government agencies so they can better serve veterans.”

FREE Memorial Day “Thank You” Card for Hospitalized Veterans

The Veterans of Foreign Wars have found a way to help make sure that every hospitalized and nursing home veteran receives a thank you card on Memorial Day 2011.  So much so that they are willing to print and deliver such a card for you.   They are calling this a “Real Card for a Real American Hero”, and the VFW is asking you to help by signing your name and spreading the word.

This is a simple, easy, and great way to say “Thank You!” on Memorial Day.

Please spread the word about this outstanding opportunity with everyone you know.
