Applebee’s is again offering a free meal to military veterans and active-duty service members on Veteran’s Day, Friday, Nov. 11, 2011. There will be 7 entrées to choose from. Chilis RestaurantChili’s – free meal, Friday, Nov. 11. Chili’s is offering all military veterans past and present their choice of one of 6 meals. This offer is available from 11am – 5pm on November 11, 2011 at participating Chili’s in the U.S. only. Dine-in from limited menu only; beverages and gratuity not included.   1. It is absolutely amazng and shocking and disgraceful that so few multi billionaire corporations even recognize veterans with even one meal one day of the year. Veterans should be able to have a meal whenever they don’t have one and need one. Notice that some of these corporations are even trying to make money off them on Veterans day with their buy one get one free and others only offer onion rings or 10 little wings or nothing at all and not all participate and the wealthiest and the ones that made the most profit are not even listed because they offer nothing.

    • In this economy, I applaud all of the businesses and companies that are at least offering something in honor of our nation’s veterans. But I do agree on a couple missing that might want to step up their “great American” game. McDonalds (for instance) can definitely afford at least a free cheeseburger.
